COMO ALCANÇAR “100 MIL SEGUIDORES”: JUVENTUDE MUTILADA EM OBRA DE LUÍS DILL

Abstract

In recent years, the genre of Youth Literature has witnessed a substantial surge in production within the publishing market, despite the questions surrounding it. With the justification of defending the importance of the Youth Literature market's approach to difficult themes on the human formation of readers, this work has the general objective of analyzing how the work 100 100 mil seguidores (2019), by Luís Dill, portrays the problems of self-mutilation, suicide and digital addiction in adolescence. To achieve this goal, we fulfilled, first, the specific objectives of presenting the general characteristics of the youth genre, from its historical context and to discuss the relevance and prejudices of the narratives that propose to work on sensitive issues. Our analysis concludes that the themes presented in the analyzed narrative serve as a warning to the dangers and suffering countless adolescents face alone, and that youth narratives of sensitive themes have the power to surprise and move the reader, redirecting their gaze to the reality of the problems that pervade your time. As a theoretical reference, studies by Ceccatini (2022), Luft (2019), Martha (2009, 2011), Turchi (2016), Zilberman (2014), and Almeida (2021), among others, were selected.
