Documentário jornalístico : o outro lado do espelho.

Abstract

This Report of Course Completion Work (TCC) was prepared based on the journalistic documentary entitled “On the other side of the mirror”. The audiovisual product was built from the reports of three women, who approach their relationship with their own bodies, taking into account a lifetime in a society that dictates standards of beauty. The documentary also has the view of two experts on the subject: one focusing on psychological issues and the other debating the influence of the media and the oppression of body aesthetics against women. The processes described in this report involve the theoretical basis used in the making of the documentary (with discussions about media and beauty, journalistic documentary and the differences between documentary and video reporting) and also the detailing of the stages of preparation of the final product, which was twelve minutes and fifty-four seconds and is available at the following link: https:// www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdqfi5X33R8.
