INTEGRANDO O ASPECTO INTRAGERACIONAL DA JUSTIÇA AMBIENTAL E A TEORIA DE REDISTRIBUIÇÃO E RECONHECIMENTO DE NANCY FRASER NO DIREITO AMBIENTAL PARA O EXERCÍCIO DA CIDADANIA

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze, through a bibliographic approach, how the intragenerational aspect of environmental justice incorporates Nancy Fraser's Theory of Redistribution and Recognition in promoting Environmental Law. Given the increasing social inequality and constant economic growth, it becomes necessary to analyze the degree of impact on the environment and consequently on people. In light of human rights, efforts are made to understand the barriers and concerns regarding the application of the suggested theory, and what possible forms of intersection could be evaluated to contribute to the exercise of citizenship. For the analysis, bibliographic research was chosen, using the study raised in the theoretical framework on the theory of redistribution and recognition and the multiple perspectives regarding its relationship with human and environmental rights. This approach allowed for a deep reflection on the issues, consolidating relevant information for the development of this study. In conclusion, considering the study conducted and the suggestions presented, it is evident that social participation and access to information have the potential to enrich the process of a just, sustainable, and equitable society.
