| Resumo: | O livro “Uma mulher vestida de sol” é a primeira peça de teatro escrita pelo autor e foi lançada em 1947, quando também foi premiada. A obra, que conta a história de duas famílias vizinhas que brigam por suas terras, representa o início de um trabalho árduo em busca da identidade de um povo, mas que também representa o mundo inteiro. As famílias, compostas por homens que brigam pelo lugar adequado da cerca que divide suas terras e mulheres que ficam em segundo plano na história, é algo típico à época e, podemos imaginar, uma realidade ainda presente em muitas famílias. Dos dois homens – líderes de suas casas, um deles é considerado o mais rancoroso, pois não se importa com nada, a não ser ganhar essa briga. |
| Abstract: | The book “A Woman Dressed in the Sun” is the first play written by the author and was released in 1947, when it also won an award. The work, which tells the story of two neighboring families who fight over their land, represents the beginning of a hard work in search of the identity of a people, but which also represents the entire world. The families, composed of men who fight over the right place on the fence that divides their land and women who remain in the background in the story, is something typical of the time and, we can imagine, a reality still present in many families. Of the two men – leaders of their homes, one of them is considered the most spiteful, as he does not care about anything except winning this fight. |
