Do lúdico às competições : um estudo de caso com a quadrilha junina "Fazenda Pindura Saia".

Abstract

This work addresses, the main transformations that the June gangs have undergone over the last 20 years, in the City of João Pessoa-Pb, specifically, with the proliferation of competitions and festivals of June gangs, especially in the advent of the implementation of the themes , which have guided cultural research, the elaboration of musical scripts, choreographic editing, the definition of costumes, props and scenography, which shape the shows in today's competitions. This article was developed through a case study carried out with the June gang Fazenda Pindura Saia in the neighborhood of Torre and, using the artifice of the analysis of testimonies of former participants of the aforementioned June group, as well as of others involved with the movement folk and cultural in the capital of Paraíba. In addition to the participations described above, I also place myself at the center of this dialogue, bearing in mind that I am an effective member of the family that founded the June gang in focus. In which, I report some of the transformations I experienced over time and, to obtain through the methodological procedures now implemented, the interpretation and analysis of the issues that involved the paradigms of the construction of the central thought exposed here. We emphasize, however, that we aim above all, the investigation and elucidation of facts that caused such transformations, which took place in the organizational, structural and dynamics of formation, in the assembly and, especially, in the exhibition of the June gang in our City. All of this, through facts that we will unveil through research and through facts and reports obtained in interviews with current and former members of the June gang Fazenda Pindura Saia. As well as, through the speech of spectators, who followed the development of the group in the Torre neighborhood, who experienced closely, these changes in full development. As well as, the speeches of influential people in the artistic, folkloric and cultural environment, who can help weave this patchwork made of "cutouts of memories", in the social aspects and practices present in the manifestation of this June revelry.
