Etnografia na dança : a pesquisa de campo como caminho metodológico no processo criativo.

Abstract

This course completion work (TCC) aims to observe, describe and reflect on the relationships that Dance artists establish with Ethnography and/or Autoethnography in the process of artistic creation. The methodology was carried out through bibliographic research, semi-structured interviews with the artist Ewé Lima (PB) and Totem Group (PE), in addition to analyzes of their respective shows, “Reza” and “Retomada”. The creative processes of these artists enabled them to reflect on whether or not the methods in question are explicit in their speeches and whether there are correspondences and differences between them and their creative methodologies, because the artists did not use ethnography as a conscious choiceof a research methodology. Thus, we note that the result of the research is related to the approximation in the ethnographic bases in relation to what sustains the methodology of the creative processes of the interviewees, such as the prolonged interaction in the relationship with the other, the daily exchange of the researcher in the universe of the other, related to field research and, finally, the relationship with traditional cultural elements
