Fusão na dança do ventre tribal : corpreendendo éticas e estéticas.

Abstract

The fundamental issue that drives the writing of this work revolves around the observation of an orientalist colonial history quite evident in Tribal Fusion Belly Dance. My objective is to contribute to the construction of an ethics-aesthetics of the body for this dance that escapes the notions of cultural appropriation that are historically present in it, based on Afrocentric readings and the concept of corpreensão in development from this work. This qualitative approach study is carried out through bibliographical, documentary and autoethnographic research and is divided into three chapters, in the first, I deal with the ethical dimensions of the tribal, from the historical context of this dance, in the second, the aesthetic dimensions, discussing the questions of cultural appropriation present in this dance from Afrocentric perspectives, finally, in the third, I briefly present some paths for fusions in dance from my experience as a teacher and artist. I conclude that following the path of looking at tribal dance from an Afrocentered perspective, visualizing the interrelationship between ethical and aesthetic dimensions, is the first step to build the necessary changes to conceive this fusion dance from other perspectives. I indicate that conceiving the ritual dimension, the relationship between art and everyday life, the way of improvisation are propositions that make the process of elaboration of the tribal style closer to the realities that inspire it.
