Educação infantil e pandemia: práticas pedagógicas no período pandêmico

Abstract

The aim of this research was to discuss a significant period in societal life, the period of the new coronavirus pandemic in Early Childhood Education, the first stage of basic education, between the years 2020 and 2022. The pandemic, which was initially expected to be short-lived, lasted for years, made society adapt to the “new normal”, and even after these years there are still remnants of the entire process. The primary objective of this research is to comprehend the impact and outcomes of the COVID-19 pandemic on the pedagogical practices established in Early Childhood Education during the pandemic period in Paraíba. Identifying which pedagogical practices were adopted by teachers in the first stage during the Covid pandemic period, comparing scientific studies that have focused on pedagogical practices in the last two years in Paraíba. The research was developed through bibliographical research with analysis of completion of course works related to the topic, linked to the UFPB Central Library database, within the Pedagogy Course. Due to the pandemic situation, the Ministry of Education (MEC) launched ordinance No. 343 of March 17, 2020, which launched the replacement of in-person classes with remote teaching. The educational reality in the pandemic context has brought numerous changes and adaptations to the educational scenario, the closure of schools and social distancing are some of them. Therefore, it is extremely important to review the practices used so that they can positively assist in the teaching and learning process, and it is necessary to contextualize the child in Early Childhood Education, as well as how institutions have adapted to activities in order to understand new practices carried out during the pandemic. In this way, the aim is to understand the concepts of children and childhood through some writers; teaching during this period of coronavirus; what practices were adopted so that learning could be active and effective and how the interactions with the child took place during this remote period. With the results of the research we can see the importance of the relationship between interactions within the school community. Play-based resources are an extremely important point in this process, good knowledge of the class also makes the teacher successful. Utilizing tools in a more humane manner and in a dynamic way was a key point for the success of some teaching methods and practices
