Jogo na educação infantil

Abstract

This paper presents an approach on the importance of play in early childhood education, whose research has like objective to investigate the contribution of the use of games in didactic and pedagogical practices of teachers of early childhood education, but also make a reflective analysis to understand whether the games can really contribute to the teaching-learning process. This study is based on field research with authors that address the importance of sports and games in the classroom and the interaction between the subjects involved in this process. The methodology used a structured questionnaire, which included questions on the proposed topic. Participants were three teachers and their lines were analyzed from the theoretical framework here searched. The results after the analyzes show that educators are aware that sports and games contribute to the process of teaching and learning, which helps the development of the child, uses the analysis, observation, attention, imagination, vocabulary, language and other own capacities of human beings. We can then define the games as experiences and creative freedom in which children express their emotions, feelings and thoughts about the world and also an interaction space with themselves and others.
