CRESCIMENTO E A PRODUTIVIDADE DA ALFACE EM FUNÇÃO DA REPOSIÇÃO HÍDRICA

Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is one of the most consumed vegetables, being considered the most popular hardwood in Brazil. The irrigations for this crop must be carried out frequently and abundantly due to its wide leaf area, and the moisture content of the soil must be above 80% throughout the crop cycle and in the harvest for good production. In view of the above, this experiment aimed to evaluate the growth and yield of lettuce, under different water replenishments. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design with four treatments consistent with the application of four irrigation slides corresponding to 50%, 80%, 100% and 120% of the field capacity of the vase. The variables analyzed were plant diameter (DP), plant height (AP), number of leaves (NF), Mass of the green matter of the aerial part (MMVPA) productivity (t / ha). All variables evaluated were influenced by water replenishment blades . In the variables in relation to growth, plant height, plant diameter, fresh matter mass of the shoot and number of leaves reached their maximum development in 120% of the water replenishment. In the experimental conditions, 120% of the water replenishment obtained a better productivity (5,8 t / ha).
