Educação do campo e suas experiências: um estudo sobre o município de Pitimbu – PB no primeiro semestre de 2019

Abstract

This research deals with an aspect of the educational area, the Field Education. I present the educational modality according to the official documents that guide the education in Brazil, as well as the definitions of Education in and of the Field by theoreticians that are engaged in the fights for equality in education. The research takes place in three schools of the rural area, which corresponds to 25% of the Field Schools of the city of Pitimbu, South Coast of Paraíba, and it aims to discuss how the Field Schools in the city of Pitimbu experience the Field Education, seeking to analyse the pedagogical perceptions of the Field Schools, which offer the elementary education, through the Pedagogical Political Projects – PPP , and the speeches of the participants of the research. This research occurred through the mapping of the pedagogical experiences of the students and teachers, by questionnaire with opened and closed questions, and, in addition to it, there were examinations of the Pedagogical Political Projects – PPP. With the materials collected and the PPPs, there were the analysis of the curricular proposals of each institution. We come to a conception that the Field Schools in the city of Pitimbu present a fragility concerning the concept of Education in and of the Field, and its educational principles. In contrast, the schools develop pedagogical proposals that contribute to a process of negation of the peasant identity of the students. The theorical corpus of this research relies on the contributions of CALDART (2002), (2012), OLIVEIRA E CAMPOS (2012), MOLINA (2014), BOGO (2010), BONETI (2017), and others.
