Dança-criança: uma análise sobre o ensino de dança na infância

Abstract

The movement is inherent to the human, and in childhood this fact is even more evident. When a child is born, still without speaking, it seeks to know everything with its body and movement. It is thinking about this close relationship of the child with the movement, that this research comes to bring a reflection on the practice of dance in childhood. Based on questions as a ballet/dance teacher for children, the aim is to present the role of dance in childhood (with an emphasis on the age group corresponding to early childhood education) and to think about how dance can contribute to the global development of kid. For this, we made a bibliographic overview of the main national references on this subject and an analysis of some dance teaching proposals that are being commonly used with children, connecting them to aspects of child development.
