“Em nome da vida”: apontamentos sobre a relação entre intervenções táticas policiais e os Direitos Humanos

Abstract

We aim in this course conclusion work to understand how the relationship between police tatical interventions in estabilished undertaken by military police officers tactical groups and Human Rights. The question raised is the existing problem between the ways of acting in cases involving critical situations and the protection of fundamental human values, with emphasis on life and freedom. Therefore, through qualitative research bibliographic and documentary we are guided by theoretical reflections through studies of international human rights precepts and alternative police tactics, it makes us believe that this discussion results in providing and serving as a subsidy for police professionals, sources of information on police and legal doctrine for the management of critical incidents, highlighting the taking of hostages in private prison, as wellas, they can better understand their roles as those who must act “in the name of life”.
