Léo Tem Leucemia: Elaboração de uma História Terapêutica para Atuação com Biblioterapia no Cenário Infantil

Abstract

Despite the difficult recognition for being confused with typical symptoms of the development phase, child cancer usually develops quickly inducing changes that, when early diagnosed, increases the therapeutic possibilities, making a difference in the life of the sick child. The moment of diagnosis of childhood cancer, the treatment process and the possible physical and psychological sequels arising from the clinical condition are pointed as suffer factors in the patient's life, demanding from psychologists the elaboration of intervention and coping strategies that will favor the performance of the professional with the child . Thereby, this study has the objective to elaborate a therapeutic resource to be used for psychologists professionals like a ludic strategy for making psychoeducative interventions about cancer and your respective treatment. In the first moment It was performed descriptive/ exploratory looking to make a literature review about the psychologist work and the great vallue of the ludic and bibliotherapy for the child cancer treatment. Then, it was realized a children's books data survey of childhood cancer and Leukemia, both national and international. In a third moment it was realized the creation of the resource " Leo has leukemia", an therapeutic book/ story about child cancer, looking to help the realization of interventions with the child. From the proposal presented here it hopes to explain childhood cancer in a ludic way, considering that the child stories can be a positive auxiliary in a comprehension and coping of the disease.
