Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the institute of multiproperty real estate, in the light of the case about the golden beach home building, showing the social and legal evolution of this institute in the country, since for years the theme was left without legal regulation, being debated in doctrine and jurisprudence, the lack of a regulatory norm gave rise to a social outcry for the creation of a law to regulate this new legal model, so that it resulted in the approval of law 13.777 / 2018. Thus, in view of the regulation of multiproperty on June 20, 2020, the institution of this modality in units of the golden beach home building had been required, therefore, we seek to present a study on the case. The nature of the methodological approach adopted in this research was the qualitative approach, because, thus, the researcher can, according to Oliveira (2002), present himself adequately in order to be able to understand the relationship of the cause and effect of the phenomenon and consequently arrive at its truth and reason. Thus, the approach method used in this research was the deductive one, which starts from the general and reaches the particular because its reasoning starts from principles considered true and indisputable to reach conclusions in a purely formal way, as stated by Gil (1987). As a conclusion, the research pointed out the importance of multiproperty in the country, since the purpose will be to promote greater economic use of the property.
