Da raiz ancestral aos saberes culturais: práticas educativas em educação das relações étnico-raciais no Projeto PROLICEN Pedagogia Griô da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (2017-2019)

Abstract

ABSTRACT The general objective of this work is to analyze the educational practices of the Griô Pedagogy Teaching Project linked to the Degree Program, in the period 2017-2019. And, as specific objectives, to discuss the context of Ethnic-Racial Relations Education and Griô Pedagogy; To identify the educational teaching practices developed in the Pedagogia Griô project, linked to the Degree Program (PROLICEN), offered by the Dean of Graduation (PRG), of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB); Reflect on educational practices in the Pedagogia Griô project and its contribution to Pedagogy and Basic Education. The main theorists were: Saviani (1997); Pacheco (2006); Gomes (2011); Libâneo (2013); Candau (2013), among others. The methodology consisted of qualitative research of the bibliographic and documentary type, using the content analysis of current legislation, the Annual Reports of PROLICEN, for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019 and Field Records. The results make it possible to understand that the educational practice of Pedagogia Griô favored a Continuing Education for external participants in Basic Education and made it possible to expand knowledge about the Afro-Brazilian culture and the valorization of the ethnic-racial identity of the project participants, in the Formation initial. It also fostered curiosity, debates and enchantment among educators and residents of the Róger Community, in the city of João Pessoa-PB, in relation to the tradition of traditional peoples.
