Harmonização entre teoria e prática do estágio não obrigatório: perspectivas a partir do curso de graduação em Arquivologia da Universidade Federal da Paraíba

Abstract

It analyzes the relevance of the non-compulsory internship in the training of the archivist. The research has as objective analyze this relevance considering two research universes. The first one can be characterized as a participatory research of an empirical nature in which data were collected from the report of experience in the non-compulsory stage carried out at the Court of Justice of Paraíba and as complementary data a questionnaire was applied to the servers of the granting institution to kwon of the trainees' contribution for the better develop the institution's activities. The second universe researched refers to the final students of the archivology course of the Universidade Federal da Paraíba. From the data collected, we obtained an analysis that the experience in the non-compulsory stage adds a lot in the development of professional vision. With the dynamics of theory and practice, the student arrives at the work environment with a sense of what he can find and how to deal with in each situation, including that of interpersonal relationships in the work environment. With the passage of time the regulation on internship has also evolved and currently Brazil has Law 11.788 of September 25, 2008 where the non- compulsory internship brings educational and professional benefit to the student, as the Law clearly defines the competence of the involved in this process. However, even with this support, the institutions still need to be better adapted to the stages of archival studies, providing the student and the institution with a physical structure and better resources for the development of archival activities.
