Arquivo do Núcleo Pessoal (NUPES) da Superintendência Regional do Trabalho e Emprego da Paraíba (SRTE/PB): um relato de experiência

Abstract

This article aims to create and describe a diagnosis about the file of the Regional Superinten dence of Labor and Employment of Paraíba (SRTE/PB) based on the experiences lived during an internship at this institution, aiming to show the difficulties and presenting suggestions for improvements to the file of the Personnel Nucleus (NUPES). It was about presenting solutions from the diagnosis carried out in the archive following the regulations of the National Council of Archives (CONARQ) in order to improve the custody and preservation of the archives. Thus, the archival situational picture of the sector was raised, from structure to technical processing, considering what is regular from the point of view of the norm and theory. Regarding the me thodological contribution, the study is of a qualitative nature and regarding the data collection method it uses the literature review for the construction of the theoretical contribution, as well as participant observation to record the findings verified in the archive through experience with the public institution. It is concluded that the sector archive meets in parts what the norm and theory advocates, it is recorded that the major problem lies in the fact that the institution does not have an archivist in its staff, making it difficult to correctly conduct of services and processes. It is noted that as for experience, the internship is of great importance in the experience and training of a professional archivist, because it is through it that it is possible to acquire a good background of learning and establish the association between theory and practice.
