Produção científica sobre Arquivologia no contexto da Ciência da Informação: uma análise na Base de Dados dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação do Nordeste

Abstract

The research sought to identify Archivology themes in the context of Information Science through the dissertations and theses of the Postgraduate Programs in Information Science in the Northeast. Regarding the methodology adopted, the research was developed through a predominantly quantitative approach, characteristic of metric studies. The official portals of the Postgraduate programs allied to the institutional repositories of the universities were indispensable to have access to the dissertations and theses. In order to obtain data on the authors and supervisors regarding the sample, data collection was carried out through the Lattes Platform. To support the research, we present an overview of Archivology and information science. Posteriorly, analyzes and reflections were carried out on the data obtained in the repositories and Lattes Platform. The results achieved were the quantity of dissertations and theses, the themes addressed in the research and the analysis of the graduations of the authors and supervisors.
