VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER NA PANDEMIA DO COVID-19 E A INEFETIVIDADE ESTATAL NA FUNÇÃO PROTETIVA: DIMINUIÇÃO DA VIOLÊNCIA OU SUBNOTIFICAÇÃO?

Abstract

The scope of this work is to deal with the reduction of violence against women during the COVID-19 pandemic period, and if this reduction actually happens or if what happens throughout the nactional territory is na underreporting. Therefore, it provides a historical contexto to understand how gender violence emerged and what were the consequences it brought to women’s lives. The social and antropological contours of the feminist struggle are traced in order to understand how the legislation currently in force seeks to protect women, more fervently than a few years ago, but continue to be ineffective in their protective function. Finally, it analyzes the data on violence in the pandemic, trying to understand what led to its decrease, always make a parallel with the social system currently established. The presente research is na explanatory study carried out through a broad bibliografic and documental review, in addition to the use if legislation analysis, using the hypothetical-deductive method of approach.
