Motivação para aprender em universitários: uma revisão da literatura

Abstract

Currently, there is an increasing rate of entrants into higher education, but this does not automatically guarantee their academic success, there are numerous obstacles along this journey that can compromise their educational progress and, however, motivation is an important aspect for permanence. or dropout among university students. Therefore, the general objective of this work was to map the scientific studies published on the topic and three specific objectives were outlined: 1. Present the relevant studies from the last ten years; 2. Identify the motivational profile of the researched students; 3. Point out which variables were related to the theme in each study. As a methodology, the present study consisted of a systematic review of the literature, with a sample of articles that was selected from searches in the SciELO and CAPES databases, between February and March 2024. In the data analysis, the articles were selected respecting the inclusion and exclusion criteria and the chosen studies were read in full in order to identify the main information, according to the topic in question. The results enrich the understanding of the complex dynamics between motivation to learn in the university context, providing a solid basis for educational interventions and policies that aim to promote student engagement and success in higher education.
