Abstract

This project aims to develop a costume for the world tour The Eras Tour by North American singer Taylor Swift, making the piece an auxiliary tool in the narrative created by the artist. The objective is for the piece developed to be inserted in the context of one of the tour's blocks, taking into account the uniqueness present in the aesthetics of each of the acts that make up the show, a characteristic that is present not only on the tour but in all Taylor Swift's projects. To obtain the proposed results, a hybrid design methodology was developed, in agreement with the methodological processes of design and fashion authors such as Bruce Archer (1884, apud Lacerda 2012, p. 113), Bonsiepe (1984), Munari (2008), Jones (2005) and Treptow (2013). The application of the methodology allowed the piece to be produced according to the inspiration defined during the creative phase, materializing the essence of the theme song into a tangible object.
