A VERBO-VISUALIDADE NA POESIA JUVENIL BRASILEIRA: UMA ANÁLISE DA OBRA COTIDIANO, PAIXÕES & OUTROS FLASHES: HAIQUASES

Abstract

Youth Literature is a genre that has been gaining prominence with literary productions that present structural ruptures and thematic innovations characteristic of contemporary times. However, the focus of research regarding this production falls on youth narratives, while poetry does not receive its due emphasis. In view of this, the present work aimed to analyze the work of youth poetry Cotidiano, passions & others flashes: Haiquases (2019), written by Luís Dill and illustrated by Silvana de Menezes, in order to highlight the importance between the verbal text and the visual text for constructing meaning during the reading. We seek to provide a brief contextualization of Brazilian youth poetry, discuss the characteristics of contemporary literary productions and describe the main constituent elements of a graphic project. Regarding methodology, this monograph has a basic nature, in which descriptive research is highlighted. As a theoretical basis, we used the studies of D’Onofrio (1995), Aguiar and Ceccantini (2012), Sampaio (2014), Oliveira (2012), Linden (2011), Camargo (1998), among others. Among the final considerations, we note that the work analyzed in this research presents innovative features in its composition, evident in the graphic layout, themes and the relationship between text and image, elements that favor the multiplication of meanings of the poetic text.
