Direitos sexuais e reprodutivos da mulher: o planejamento familiar em questão

Abstract

The present text aims to analyze the social responsibility of women in relation to family planning and to understand the historical, theoretical and political determinations of patriarchal and capitalist society in the control of the body and sexuality of women. Its central axis is the sexual and reproductive rights of women. The approach to the theme happen from the participant observation based on the experience lived at the Lauro Wanderley University Hospital in the Women's Care Unit. The type of research adopted was the bibliographical and documentary, both of qualitative and quantitative analysis. As a theoretical basis we chose authors such as: Swan (2014), Engels (2002), Saffioti (2004), Lessa (2012), Sirelli and Cruz (2017), Polignano (2001), Alves (2006), Utsch (2016), Scavone (2010) and Diniz and Medeiros (2010). The results obtained allowed to understand the historical and social determinations of the oppression and exploration of the bodies and the sexuality of the women that lead to the social responsibility of these during family planning in comparison to the man.
