As interações entre bebês e adultos no berçário de um CREI em João Pessoa/PB

Abstract

The objective of the present study was to analyze the interactions between adults and infants between the ages of 6 (six) months to 1 (one) year and 5 (five) months in a CREI nursery in João Pessoa / PB and by specific objectives to understand the daily life of the nursery, to identify the moments of interaction between adults and babies and to understand the professionals' conceptions regarding the pedagogical experience in the work developed with the children. It was a qualitative study, composed of a theoretical revision on the theme. From the contributions of Barbosa (2008; 2009; 2010); RCNEI (1998); Amorim (2011); Barbosa and Richter (2009); Paschoal and Machado (2009). It was a field research, who made use of the Field Diary for the recording of the daily observations of the nursery.The research was carried out in a Reference Center for Early Childhood Education (CREI), in the city of João Pessoa, and the subjects were 5 (five) nursery professionals (professionals without teacher training, denominated nurserymen) and the nursery class appointed by the institution of B1, with 22 (twenty-two) babies enrolled. 6 (six) observations were made that occurred 2 (two) or 3 (three) times in the week and also 3 (three) visits for the presentation of the research and for the accomplishment of the questionnaire, in which the nurses answered what they understood about interaction and how their relationships with babies occurred.The qualitative analysis was complemented by exposures of the interactions that occurred in the daily routine of the nursery and the results obtained revealed the lack of understanding of the professionals in relation to the interactions with the babies. Finally, it was noticed the importance of widening the eyes and seeking new methods and opportunities for the search for an improvement in Early Childhood Education.
