Cuidar e educar na educação infantil: um novo olhar sobre a perspectiva do educador

Abstract

The theme of to take care and to educate in early childhood education, despite often being present in discussions and research in academia, still presents itself as an important subject of investigation. The act of to takecare and to educate in early childhood education is not easy, because working with young children has as starting point to know their interests and needs, so that, it is possible to understand their real needs. The take care and education should propose a joint, conscious action, mantling a broad view of child development, respecting diversity and reality of each. Thus, this study aims to investigate the relationship between to take care and to educate teachers in the pedagogical practice of early childhood education; analyze the most frequent problems in caring for and educating children's development in kindergarten; investigate and to expose the pedagogical difficulties encountered by educators who relating to take care and to education cecous; Therefore, we rely on studies of Forest, Weiss (2009 ) that addresses the to care and to educate as inseparable elements where there is no care for and educate the know-how. Also anchored in the studies by Ferreira (1988 ), Libâneo (2003 ) , Brazil (1998 ), Rock (1999 ) and others, which have discussions on the issues of the relationship of caring and educating both as learning tool. Besides the legal basis proposed in RCNEIs, LDB and NCPs that guarantee the child as a subject of rights. This is a descriptive qualitative study conducted through a questionnaire in two schools in two different cities located in the city of Pombal, and São Bento - PB, in October 2013. The corpus was comprised of six teachers working in public schools in two different cities. We found that the teachers surveyed are cognizant of the importance of contemplating their practices in the relationship between care and education inseparably, by agreeing that these elements are interdependent of each other so that a satisfactory child learning to occur, in order to contribute to the full development cognitive, affective and social child who perform planning that considers this practice as well as discussed the difficulties faced by teachers in relation to a practice focused on the care and education.
