Afetividade e educação infantil: concepções e práticas docentes no município de Campina Grande/PB

Abstract

The present work aimed to analyze the importance of the teacher of the kindergarten in the development of affectivity. It is a qualitative research, whose instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire, which was applied with teachers of maternal levels I and II of a nursery located in the city of Campina Grande / PB. So, it was possible to identify the importance that teachers give to affectivity and what are their motivations for work in early childhood education. It was also analyzed the way affectivity is worked with daycare children and how the adaptive process is carried out during the school year. In addition, an analysis was made of the opinion of these professionals about the affective attachment of children to their parents. It was possible to verify that most of the teachers questioned present an essential identification to work in the education of children. The adequate physical structure are presented as difficulties of the work of the children's education, however, the teachers questioned showed that they implement activities that are of great help for the process development. In addition, through this work it was possible to better analyze the affective relationships between children and their parents under the eyes of day care teachers, showing that these professionals should often play a maternal role towards students who do not have a good affective relationship inside home.
