Abstract

This work verify the current scenario of autism in the academic field and the scientific literature in education, although autism has received prominence in the scientific literature; currently still has a huge quest to identify and unravel the mysteries involved surrounding this complex theme. This study examines what is available in academic productions about autism, and what discussions have been designed in graduate programs over the last five years. And what's new around the theme autism and education. The purpose of this study was to identify on the BDTD website through data search, searching for the key word autism in the titles of dissertations in which major and minor period has been raised discussions on autism and education. As the educational professional has contributed in the academic and educational field to the development of the autistic in the school environment, within the last five years it has been the year that has concentrated the largest number of studies on autism in the academic and educational sphere and quantity of publications with the theme autism between 2013 to 2017. More specifically, it seeks to gather answers in the scientific literature and in the academic universe to supply the information needs for the professional of the education to carry out activities directed to the person with the disorder of the autistic spectrum TEA. And what contributions these studies have brought from this thematic axis. How these studies addressed the problem of how to act in the classroom with these autistic students. For those who work in the training and education of autistic spectrum carriers, exemplifying how to guide the activities in this teaching / learning process and to cite a proposal of multidisciplinary work, the understanding of an understanding of literacy is adopted in the light of Paulo Freire allied to the adaptations necessary to achieve the intended objectives.
