Contribuições da literatura infantil na formação de leitores a partir da educação infantil

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the contributions of children's literature to children's development and to the encouragement of reading. The study is a bibliographic research carried out in the CAPES, Sciello and Google Scholar journals, with selection criteria and methodology. We selected 07 papers that presented the authors' experience in working with children's literature, with emphasis on the perspective of children, educators and didactic resources. The collected data were analyzed from the elaboration of thematic tables, in a qualitative perspective. With this study it was possible to verify that the children's literature contributes to the child's development in the cognitive, social, affective and also motor aspects of children, bringing them closer to the literate world through playfulness. In addition, it was possible to contribute to research in early childhood education through the analysis of experiences that foster changes in practices in early childhood education and also concern of educators to produce more in-depth studies on the subject.
