Contribuições da ludicidade para o desenvolvimento integral de crianças da educação infantil

Abstract

We start from the understanding that playfulness is part of the history of humanity, as it has always been present in the activities practiced since the beginning of the constitution of man. Therefore, we argue that playfulness needs to be interwoven with the pedagogical practices of Early Childhood Education, as it helps in the process of building cultural identity and the formation of individuals, in addition to developing attention, memory and imagination. Therefore, this research aimed to understand the contributions of playfulness to the integral development of children in Early Childhood Education. For this, we conducted a semi-structured interview with three teachers of Early Childhood Education. With the analysis of the collected data we realized that playfulness is something inherent to the teaching practices of the teachers participating in this research. It was also found that, in the teachers' understanding, playfulness is indispensable to the child's educational process, as it is through interactions and games that they develop fully.
