Políticas de acolhimento e integração dos refugiados na Alemanha nos anos de 2015 a 2018

Abstract

This research sought to understand the process of integration and reception in Germany through the refugee crisis in the period from 2015 to 2018. Therefore, it portrayed the migration crisis and its consequences in Europe and specifically in Germany, understanding the context of the conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa under the influence of the Arab Spring. That said, we verified how the German government positioned itself in the face of the large flow of refugees in the midst of their integration and reception process. Thus, we examine the behavior of German society regarding the agenda of the large influx of refugees in their country. Nevertheless, we see some initiatives by the German government to insert refugees into the labor market and, at the same time, solve the housing deficit in big cities. In this sense, the German government sought to develop the model for the permanence of refugees in Germany, thus seeking to resolve the obstacles facing the situation at that time.
