Por uma educação patrimonial e antirracista: Quilombo Paratibe-PB

Abstract

The present work brings as a thematic focus the remaining community of Quilombo Paratibe, located in greater João Pessoa, as a historical cultural heritage. With the aim of contributing to the promotion of an education that transforms, we seek to present a proposal for heritage and anti- racist education aimed at 5th grade classrooms, through a proposal for a didactic sequence. Concepts such as heritage and memory are presented as fundamental for the theoretical construction. In addition to the debate around Law 10.639/03, which helps to think about the interlocutions of the teaching-learning process and ethnic-racial relations, with a view to an anti- racist education. We learned, therefore, by treating the history of Africa and Afro-Brazilians as a transversal direction and that, in the case of Early Childhood Education, the universe of playfulness must be taken into account for the construction of knowledge. bibliographic review and hope to contribute to a more democratic and equitable education.
