Ethos Rosacruz – um trajeto meta empírico no desaguar simbólico, esotérico e místico da consciência ocidental

Abstract

The term rosicrucian carries with it the evocation of two symbols – the rose and the cross. Symbolic that is linked to Western Esoteric movements, which carry both the symbolic and the term rosicrucian, seen in its emic character the term will indicate the desired state or degree acquired – either in Freemasonry or in Rosicrucian orders. Within the social view, the various contemporary Rosicrucian movements are directly linked to the development of ideas in the field of esotericism, their formulations established from myths together with the rites and symbols of the various Rosicrucian movements, the thought capital of this group. Here it is worth thinking that in the search for the definition of the human, from a social point of view, it can be apprehended in the constitution of its ethos, expressed in the structure of culture and tradition. Grouped in such a way as to constitute the reality in which, their relationships develop. This time, following the formulations of the sociocultural constituents, chosen by us: ethos, culture, tradition and symbolism, we direct our analysis to the social formulations present in the Rosicrucian movements and their developments since the publication of the first writings in the 17th century. In view of the heteroclite characteristic of the Rosicrucian phenomenon expressed in the various movements that have been organized throughout its history. We propose to trace the path that we understand as an empirical goal, reconstructing the discourses that established the contemporary Rosicrucian ethos and its dialogue with the silent memory of secularized spiritualities. Thus, we will use Gilbert Durand's concept of sociology of the depths and the structural perspective of Western Esoterism proposed by Olav Hammer, so that from the expressions of contemporary Rosicrucianism, we can understand the mystical and esoteric flow present in Western consciousness.
