Violência na escola: uma reflexão sobre o bullying no contexto escolar

Abstract

The objective of this work is to discuss existing bullying situations in the school from the point of view of teachers and students. In school, Bullying practice causes many disorders and anguishes, causing exclusion and isolation of students and consequently impeding the teaching and learning process, making it impossible to sustain a culture of peace and inclusion in the school space. Preparing education professionals to deal with the manifestations of Bullying will help the school environment to become a less violent place, allowing students to balance and overcome in dealing with their emotions, valuing tolerance and solidarity. However, we sought to conduct a field research whose focus was to understand what bullying is, how it occurs and its consequences in the school environment; to analyze the way in which educators perceive the existence of this phenomenon and how they interfere when they perceive the occurrence of bullying, besides verifying that the actions on the part of the teachers can imply in the occurrence of bullying in the classroom. Some scholars who defend the teacher-student relationship believe that the panorama of violence in the school environment can be modified as soon as the teacher-student interaction becomes a difference.
