Abstract

This work aims to make a critical and reflexive analysis about the teacher - student relationship in the teaching - learning process, specifically, to deepen knowledge about the subject through a bibliographical research and to reflect on the role of the teacher in the relationship with the students. The research was of bibliographic character, where a survey of several authors and articles on the subject was made. It is concluded that the teacher is a fundamental professional in the process of teaching and learning of the student and, depending on the pedagogical tendency that he adopts in his practice, it will have a particular way of relating to the learner, a fact that will influence in a way Positive or negative in student learning. It is suggested, therefore, a greater discussion about the practices adopted by teachers in the classroom.
