Construções do logaritmo e da exponencial

Abstract

The aim of our work, characterized as a bibliographic study, is to present some constructions of the logarithmic and exponential functions. These constructions require certain historical notions and some results on infinitesimal calculus. Therefore, we make some considerations about the historical context of the creation of the logarithm and exponential functions and also present the necessary concepts of Real Analysis for our work. So, we establish a small study about the Euler Number and then present the construction of the exponential function followed by the logarithmic function, as its inverse. Finally, we will go the other way around, building the logarithmic function through the integral and defining the exponential function as its inverse.
